The IMPANGELEbed & breakfast is located on the East Rand, 15 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport. Airport pick-up is available on request.
DIRECTIONS FROM JOHANNESBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Take the R21 highway toward BOKSBURG/eMALAHLENI (previously called WITBANK), do NOT drive toward either Johannesburg or Pretoria, do NOT exit at BOKSBURG (after a few kilometers) but continue on the N12 direction eMALAHLENI (WITBANK). After about six kilometers on the highway, exit at the ATLAS ROAD-BENONI off-ramp (take the SECOND EXIT, not the exit direction Kempton Park). At the off-ramp, continue over the highway and take a left into LAKEFIELD AVENUE (just before the third traffic light after the off-ramp/exit). Stay in the right hand lane and continue for about 700 meters, until the right lane forks to the right (just before PLANET FITNESS). Follow the road to the right, remain on LAKEFIELD AVENUE for another 300 meters and take a right into SUNNYSIDE AVENUE, just before the golf course. Stay on SUNNYSIDE AVENUE (pass the security boom, press the green button to open the barrier) and turn left into WALSH STREET (second road on your left). Drive down WALSH STREET, which becomes THE DRIVE (when you see the pan/lake on your right). Continue until you get to house No 8 and press the gate bell when you arrive that we open the gate for you. If the trip takes you longer than 15 minutes (a bit longer during peak hour traffic), you are lost, please stop at a petrol station and call me for assistance (072 599 4502).
We recommend against completely relying on navigation systems (GPS’s etc.) or other forms of computer generated directions. Computers are machines, their software programs do not always recommend the quickest, easiest and best-traveled routes. They frequently default to the shortest mileage between two points, often sending drivers through remote or unsafe areas.
Please read through the directions listed above for the route that A REAL HUMAN BEING recommends to get from Johannesburg International airport to IMPANGELE. We want you to have a great experience in South Africa, and that starts with driving safely from the airport to our front door.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Rooms are available from 2pm onwards (earlier on request). Check-out time is 10am.
- We unfortunately cannot cater for pets, sorry.
- IMPANGELE is a non-smoking establishment - but you are welcome to smoke outside the house.
- Bookings are subject to a 50% deposit. Cancellation fee prior to arrival date:
- Less than 7 days: guests forfeit full deposit.
- From 7 to 14 days: guests forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- We accept VISA and MASTERCARD, as well as cash (Rand, A$, US$’s, £’s and €’s).
- IMPANGELE, it's owners and/or managers and/or staff will not be held responsible or liable for losses or injuries and will not accept any consequential costs, damages and/or losses
